Freetech Road Recycling Technology Undertakes Urumqi Municipal Road Maintenance Project for Five Consecutive Years
HONG KONG--(EON: Enhanced Online News)--Freetech Road Recycling Technology (Holdings) Limited (“Freetech”, or the “Group;” stock code: HK.6888), a leading and fast-growing asphalt pavement maintenance service provider, announced that the Group has officially started the first stage of a Urumqi municipal road maintenance project with a service area of 360,000m2. This is the fifth consecutive year for the Group to undertake a similar project in Urumqi, Xinjiang Uyghur Autonomous Region, China, using its patented “Hot-in-Place” recycling technology.
This project involves the Airport Road, West Outer Ring Road and other main roads in Urumqi. With the patented “Hot-in-Place” recycling technology and by occupying a single-lane at night, the Group has reduced waste materials emission, dust pollution, traffic disruption, long duration, loud noises and other defects.
The Group has conducted road maintenance work on more than 80 municipal roads, highways and trunk roads in Xinjiang since 2011, with a total service area of several million square meters. The “2014 Annual Transportation Construction Project Credit Evaluation Results” issued by Transport Department of Xinjiang showed that the Group was the only road maintenance company recognized as a Grade AA road construction company.
Xinjiang, an important node on the silk road economic belt, is expected to benefit from the implementation of the "One Belt and One Road" strategy. The Group’s experience and reputation in Xinjiang will enable it to maintain its road maintenance market share in Xinjiang and improve its share in the Northwestern China market in future.
