Hong Kong--(20 June 2016)--Freetech Road Recycling Technology (Holdings) Limited (“Freetech”, or the “Group;” stock code: HK.6888), a leading asphalt pavement maintenance (the “APM”) integrated solution provider, announced that Jiangsu Engineering Research Center for Asphalt Hot-in-Place Recycling recently used China’s most advanced multi-purpose road testing vehicle to test the quality of Nanjing Xuanwu Road maintenance section performed by the main subsidiary of the Group, Freetech Road Recycling Corporation, using the Hot-in-Place recycling technology in 2008. Data indicate that the pavement damage ratio remained zero without any potholes, crackers or other road diseases, while the flatness, depth of the rut and other indicators still met the road traffic requirements after 8 years.
As the east entrance and exit of Nanjing City, Xuanwu Road is an express way connecting the inner ring road around the city. According to the data recently released by the traffic control department of Nanjing, the average daily traffic flow of the Xuanwu Road is over 131,000 vehicles in the top 2 busiest road in the whole city. In 2008, Nanjing Municipal Government listed the Xuanwu Road rapid maintenance project as one of the ten practical projects for the local citizens. By using the Hot-in-Place recycling technology, the maintenance work made the pavement which suffered from bleeding, ruts and other road diseases look completely new in a short time.
This project once again demonstrated the advantages of the Group, especially the excellent durability of Hot-in-Place recycling technology. The Group believes that the demonstration effect of this project will contribute extra income in future.
