Hong Kong--(11 July 2016)--Freetech Road Recycling Technology (Holdings) Limited (“Freetech”, or the “Group;” stock code: HK.6888), a leading asphalt pavement maintenance (the “APM”) integrated solution provider, announced that the company successfully completed Jiangsu S250 provincial road maintenance project in Suqian City, using its Hot-in-Place recycling technology.
Connecting Shandong Province in the north and Suqian City in the south, S250 provincial road is the south-north mainline running through the northern part of Jiangsu Province, supporting the urban construction and development of the city of Suqian. Due to the rapidly growing traffic burden of the provincial road, overrun and overloaded vehicles caused serious damages to the road pavement, such as ruts, transverse cracks and other diseases. The challenge of this maintenance project is that the proprietor requested the Group not only to maintain the road pavement, but also improve the road performance by adjusting the road gradation.
Starting April this year, the Freetech Group had been working on the project with equipment and expertise, and had successfully raised the original road grading of S250 from AC-13 to Sup-13, marking a technological breakthrough of its kind in China. The test report showed that both the Freetech’s bitumen aggregate ratio and gradation of recycled asphalt mixture had met the requirements in the design documentation. After maintenance, the provincial trunk highway S250 was refreshed and its flatness index even far exceeded the standard highway requirements.
This project fully demonstrated the advantages and uniqueness of the Group’s technology which will help expand the business scope, bring new revenue and contribute to profit growth.
